Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Clara Barton High School offers a unique opportunity for students interested in a healthcare career through our New York State-approved and Board of Regents-accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program.

This two-year program is designed for high school juniors and seniors who want to get a head start in nursing. Students receive classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience that prepares them to provide essential patient care as part of a healthcare team. Upon completing the program and high school graduation requirements, students receive both a high school diploma and a Practical Nursing Certificate, making them eligible to take the NCLEX-PN, the national licensing exam for practical nurses.
