Health Careers
Our school prepares students for careers in the healthcare industry through specialized programs such as Practical Nursing, Dental Assisting, and Vision Care Technology. These programs offer hands-on training, essential skills, and real-world experience to prepare students for entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Additionally, they provide a strong academic foundation for those pursuing further education at two- and four-year colleges.
To qualify, students must complete Health Occupations 1 and 2, as well as Business Career and Finance, with a minimum grade of 75% before entering 11th grade. Health career placements are determined through a selection process during the second term of sophomore year. Eligible students will receive applications via email in late February of their sophomore year, with a strict submission deadline. For more information, contact the Health Careers Department and connect with current students to learn more about the program.
