EMT Application
To apply for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program, follow the steps below:
- Speak with the Assistant Principal of the Health Careers Department to let them know you are interested in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program in your Junior year.
- You will receive an application to complete. Be sure to submit it by the stated deadline (details will be provided via email).
- After submitting your application, your academic and dean’s office records will be reviewed.
- After this review, you will be scheduled and invited for a group interview (In-Person).
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the EMT Program, students must be at least 17 years old by graduation, on track to graduate, and have completed Anatomy and Physiology, Medical terminology with a minimum grade of 75%, and demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping others.
This one-semester program, offered during senior year, is ideal for students interested in exploring a healthcare career and graduating with an industry-recognized certification. For more information, please contact the Health Careers Department and speak with current students to learn more about the program experience. Space is limited, so students are encouraged to connect with their guidance counselor early.
