Seasons Greetings

Dear Families:

As the winter season begins, we want to extend our warmest holiday wishes to every family in our #BartonPanthers community. This is a wonderful time to reflect on our students' hard work and to celebrate the joy of the season together.

While many look forward to this time of year, we recognize that the holiday season can be a difficult or heavy time for some. It is our hope that our school-wide festivities, organized by our Student Government, provide a sense of belonging and bring some extra cheer to all #BartonPanthers.

5 Days of Holidays: Dec. 16 – Dec. 22

To build community and school spirit, we are holding a holiday themed spirit week. Please encourage your child to participate on the following days:

Tuesday, Dec. 16: Ugly Sweater Day – Wear your favorite or funniest holiday sweater.
Wednesday, Dec. 17: Grinch Day – Wear green or Grinch-themed outfits.
Thursday, Dec. 18: Family Portrait Day – Coordinate matching outfits or pajamas with friends.
We will also host our Annual Holiday Show during the school day.

Friday, Dec. 19: Pajama Day – A day for cozy, holiday-themed pajamas.
Monday, Dec. 22: Secret Santa – Student Government will deliver small gifts purchased by participating students

Alumni Return Day

Welcome back! On Tuesday, December 23, 2025 we will hold our Annual Alumni Return Day. Alum's are invited to RSVP on our Alumni Return Day form to participate.

Important Safety Reminders

The holiday season often brings busy schedules and increased travel. We ask that you please speak with your children about staying safe during this time:

Commuting Safety: Be mindful of traffic and surroundings when traveling to and from the school building, especially during early evening hours when it is dark.

Travel Plans: If your family is traveling over the break, we wish you a safe journey. Please ensure you have a plan for a smooth return to school after the holidays.

Community Care: Remind your children to look out for one another and report any safety concerns to a trusted adult or school official.

Our goal is to ensure every student enjoys a joyful, peaceful, and safe holiday. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school.
