The application to a Health Career Vision Technology Major is available starting today for your submission and is due this Friday January28th, 2022 .
The Vision Technology Health Career program is approved by the New York State Education Department with the same standards as other professional programs in colleges and universities. In addition to your high school academic subjects, you must successfully complete a 20-month rigorous course of study before you are eligible to receive your Health Career Program certificate and pass a technical assessment examination for a professional certification. Your participation in the Summer 2022 is required.
Since this program is challenging and demanding, we encourage you to discuss the program’s commitments with your parents and guidance counselor before you begin the admission process.
The Health Careers department admission committee will review the applications and transcripts on January 31st, 2022. Students must be on target to graduate with their class and regents credits in order to be eligible for a program. You also must have a grade of 75% or above in Health Core 1, 2 and CFM courses.
You will be emailed your acceptance on January 31st, 2022.
